Business Rules and Regulations

1 - If you own or manage a business you may only have TWO other jobs.

2 - If you own a business, you cannot in any way be part of a management team for another business. You should be focused on running YOUR business.

3 - If an owner is neglecting to run their business it will be put up for sale by Better Business Bureau.

4 - If an owner gets permanently banned from the city the business will go up for sale by the Better Business Bureau.

5 - If your business is not open for 2 weeks or the owner is neglecting their business in any way you will lose your business and the new owner will decide if they want to keep the employees employed or hire new employees. This means if you are not around for two weeks your business will be removed from you.

6 - If we get too many reports that your business is not open or you are doing the bare minimum to keep the business, your business will be seized by the BBB.

7 - Criminals can own a business, however business owners must understand that doing criminal activities at their business risks the business being raided by PD.

8 - Criminals working at a business are strictly at the business owner's discretion.

9 - You are allowed to do background checks on your employees if you wish to not have a criminal as an employee. You should contact PD to have them conduct this for you. There will be a $25 dollar processing fee.

10 - In order to permanently trespass an individual from your business, you must go through the proper channels within the DOJ. If gangs are constantly shooting up your business, RP with PD, or make a ticket to let staff deal with it. But first RP it out with PD and use staff as the last resort.

11 - All businesses must be sold by the BBB. No one will be forced to give up their business to a gang/person under any circumstances.

12 - The Better Business Bureau can stop by at any time to conduct quality checks.

13 - When an owner decides to sell a business it will be announced and everyone in the city will be allowed to put in a proposal. The Better Business Bureau will pick the best candidate and the owner will get paid their money from the buyer.

14 - A gang can only own ONE business.

15 - A restaurant/other business can only have 2 owners, 3 managers, and any number of employees.

16 - If you are an owner and you’re going on vacation you will need to talk to your team and make sure they keep the business open and inform us that you are going to be out of town.

17 - We will NOT buy back a business. We will have to sell it for you if you are in good standings or we will have to seize it from you if you have been neglecting your business.

18 - Essential businesses will need to be opened and not “on call.” The Better Business Bureau does not consider this opening your doors. The BBB defines open as the doors of the business unlocked and a worker inside. You may however have people on call but the BBB will only count the time when they go inside the business to serve people. I.E

• Mechanic Shops

• Restaurants

19 - Private Discords: Businesses will NOT be allowed a private discord without the approval from a BBB employee (AKA staff). If you are approved, a role must be created for the BBB staff with permissions to see every channel.

Society Account

Business owners will have access to a society account in which certain actions will add money into these accounts. Owners you will have access to this account in your bank account. The BBB team will monitor these accounts for the following reason:

• Society money CANNOT be used for personal gain.

• Society money CANNOT be used to buy personal vehicles.

• Society money CANNOT be used to buy a player owned house.

• Society money MUST only be used for the business.

Business owners who are wanting to withdrawal money from there society account MUST open the "BBB Account" ticket. Failure to follow this rule will result in the BBB to take action.

These rules and regulations are subject to change at any given time.
