Professional Language and Conduct

We strive to maintain a respectful and inclusive community. Please minimize the use of explicit language and ensure your communication in text and voice chats is professional and considerate. Excessive inappropriate language or behavior may result in warnings or administrative actions.

Content Standards: NSFW/Graphic Material

Posting or sharing content that includes nudity, explicit sexual material, excessive violence, or any other disturbing material is strictly prohibited. This applies to text, images, videos, or links. We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Violations will be dealt with promptly and appropriately.

Self-Promotion and Advertising

Self-promotion, advertising other servers, or any form of solicitation (including for personal gain, products, services, or charities) is not allowed. The focus of this server is on building connections within the Midnight Gaming Network community, and unsolicited promotions disrupt that goal.

Respecting Privacy and Confidentiality

All members must respect the privacy of others. Information or discussions shared within the Discord should not be disclosed outside the platform without explicit permission. Any breaches of privacy will result in severe consequences.

Single Discord Account Policy

Each member is allowed only one Discord account within our server. Alternate or duplicate accounts will be removed without notice.

Appropriate Representation

All Discord usernames, nicknames, profile pictures, banners, and statuses must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and our community standards. Inappropriate or offensive content will not be tolerated and may lead to immediate action.

Communication with Staff

For server-related concerns or support, please use the ticketing system rather than directly messaging or pinging staff members. This ensures all issues are tracked and addressed efficiently.

Reporting Rule Violations or Suspicious Activity

If you encounter content or behavior that violates the rules or makes you feel unsafe, report it to the staff team immediately. We aim to keep our server safe and welcoming for everyone.

Harassment and Bullying

Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or targeting any member based on their identity, beliefs, or affiliations is strictly forbidden. Such behavior undermines our values of inclusivity and respect and will result in disciplinary action.

Spamming and Disruptive Behavior

Spamming, flooding chats, or any disruptive behavior (such as mic spamming in voice chats) is not allowed. This includes unnecessary tagging of members or staff. Keep all interactions meaningful and relevant.

Language and Cultural Sensitivity

This is an English-speaking server. While members are welcome to use other languages in private conversations, public chats should be in English to maintain clarity and inclusivity. Be respectful of all cultures and avoid discriminatory remarks or jokes.

Channel-Specific Guidelines

Follow the purpose and rules of each channel. Off-topic discussions should be kept to designated areas to ensure conversations remain focused and relevant.

Impersonation and Misrepresentation

Impersonating other members, staff, or external individuals/organizations is strictly prohibited. This includes mimicking usernames, nicknames, or avatars with malicious intent.

Compliance with Discord Terms of Service

All members must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Failure to do so may result in removal from the server.
